What we test
Every Pure Chain Aminos batch is tested with three types of analysis, and we provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch.
- HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) measures purity by separating a sample into its components and comparing the main peak with everything else detected.
- Mass spectrometry confirms identity by checking that the molecular weight matches the intended compound.
- Microbiological testing checks whether a sample is free of contamination.
Why one test is never enough

How to check a COA
- Confirm the COA names the specific compound and a batch or lot number.
- Match that lot number to the label on the vial you received.
- Check that the test date and the methods used are listed.
- Look at the chromatogram and mass spectrum, not only the summary figure.
